Traffic Regulation Order (TRO), Clifford Road, Chafford Hundred (Prohibition of Waiting) (Amendment) Traffic Order 2013
Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").
The general effect of the Order would be to introduce junction protections (double yellow lines) on the following roads: -
Beaufort Close,
Boleyn Close,
Bonner Walk,
Bull Close,
Calshot Avenue,
Caravel Close,
Catherine Close,
Chance Close,
Clifford Road and
Courtenay Drive
To introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-3.30pm" for the entire length of road (except where double yellow lines will be introduced at junctions) on the following roads: -
Beaufort Close,
Boleyn Close,
Bonner Walk,
Brandon Close,
Bull Close,
Calshot Avenue,
Caravel Close,
Catalina Avenue,
Catharine Close,
Cecil Avenue,
Chance Close,
Clifford Road (excluding west side of road) and
Courtenay Drive
To replace the existing "No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm" restriction with "No Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-3.30pm" on the following road: -
Bark Burr Road
A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, Essex, RM17 6SL, during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Councils website, www.thurrock.gov.uk.
Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the address in paragraph (5) to arrive on or before the 8th February 2013. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
