Police Action in Chafford
Below is an update from the Police about their actions in Chafford:
1. Anti social behaviour in Drake Road area and railway station.
Action Taken (1): March 1, 2008 - March 14 2008: Various operations undertaken in area and currently using high visibility patrols and also working in conjunction with anti social behaviour team to implement intervention panels.
Action Taken (2): July 10, 2008 - September 10, 2008: To continue running operations within the location that deal positively with anti-social behaviour.
Action Taken (3): January 16, 2009 - February 20, 2009: Op Advent currently running specifically to tackle anti social behaviour
2. Speeding cars along Devonshire Road. (Speeding/driving issues)
Action Taken (1): February 2, 2008 - February 20, 2008: Speed check device deployed with MPS.
Action Taken (2): July 10, 2008 - September 10, 2008: To continue regular deployment of Speed Indicator Device and to conduct community speed watch.
Result: With stragetic deployment of Speed Indicator Device andstatic stop checks points these offences have been disrupted and the issue for the problem has been resolved.
