In response to residents requests, I have published below the police contacts for Chafford Hundred:
Pc James Preston is the neighbourhood specialist officer (NSO) for the Chafford Hundred and North Stifford Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).

Mobile phone numbers are provided so that you can speak to the local officers about local issues, not for reporting crimes and incidents, which must continue to be reported via 999 (emergency) or 0300 333 4444 (non-emergency).
The purpose of this personal blogsite is to pass Ward or Thurrock related information across, and to allow residents comment on plans or proposals. Residents suggestions for developments in the community are certainly very welcome.

Actions and updates for Chafford 100
Chafford Hundred is still getting a number of house burglaries and thefts. Please make sure all your doors, windows, sheds and garages are secured day and night. We can offer advice on how to reduce the risk of your property being targeted by burglars. To deter burglars from visiting your home, keep secure all your valuables; for example mobile telephones, car keys, jewellery and keep them out of view from windows. If you are going out at night, leave a light on, preferably one with a low-energy bulb.
Chafford Hundred is also experiencing anti-social behaviour in Felipe Road, Rainbow Road, Griffon Road, the Train Station and the interconnecting cycle paths. In response to this I have put in place Operation KENNEDY, which has increased patrols in the area. We are working closely with the Thurrock Youth Offending Service to attempt to combat this issue.
Operation Whitehorse will be running throughout October, which has been put in place to try and combat dwelling burglaries in the Chafford Hundred area. This operation will increase patrols in Chafford Hundred between the hours of midnight and 5am, which are the peak times for this offence.
We are keen to keep our patrol time high within the Chafford and North Stifford Village areas, so even if you don’t see us driving through or an officer walking around, we may still be in the areas as we also use unmarked police cars to patrol.
If you are having problems or you are a victim of crime please report it. If we do not hear from you, we cannot help you.
