Secure overnight lorry park planning permission

This is another major planning issue which will have a major impact on residents of Chafford. The plan is to provide a:

'Secure overnight lorry park and associated facilities building on the land between the A13 and A1306 trunk roads and formation of an access onto the A1306 Arterial Road, North Stifford, Essex.'

This is another application where the Thames Gateway Development Corp will have the final say, so whether they take our views on board or not will be left to be seen.

There is already a secure over night parking facility for lorries and other HGV off London Road - next to Procter and Gamble and there is no need for this other one so close to residential dwellings.

Lorry Parks such as this tend to cause:

Traffic chaos and congestion

Pollution

Noise

Damage

Danger to life and property

Such that its location is much better sited away from residential areas.
