Refuse collection Tuesday 22nd January - Suspended

The roads on tuesdays collection rounds have been inspected the roads again this Morning and although the main roads are clear, and side roads have improved since yesterday safe access is questionable at best as the majority of the side roads are very icy. Walkways and pathways are still covered in a layer of ice and snow.

The forecast is that it will remain cold over today so I have taken the decision to suspend the service. Waste staff will be redeployed on the snow plan.

A decision on Wednesdays collection will be made in the morning.
