Thurrock's Budget - Let's Talk
Why do we need to talk about budgets?
Thurrock Council has less money to spend on its services than it has in the past. We want to talk to you about how we can save money and still deliver services to the borough. We need to save a lot of money - about £15 million between 2011 and 2012 alone.
We want to talk to you about how we can save money and become more efficient across all of our services.
You can view and vote on ideas that have already been put forward by the council and other people, to show whether you agree or disagree. If you have a saving suggestion of your own that is not on in the list you can add your idea.
