I worked with Diane on a few committees, the most recent being Thurrock Business Awards where we worked together on the Young Apprentist Award.
Ever the educationist, Diane was so dedicated and hardworking, she was even encouraging some of the contestants we met to further their education.
Although we sat on different sides of the Council, I got on well with her and will miss her. My heart goes out to her family at this time.
