Olympic Torch in Grays this Friday (6 July 2012)

Dear Residents

The Olympic Torch will be with us in just a few hours.

The roads in/around the route will be closed from 2pm (click www.cllrtunde.blogspot.com/ for the route map).

The programme starts at 3pm with a Young People's Pre-Torch Procession travelling the route from Lodge Lane to Hogg Lane. The torch itself starts its Grays journey just before 5pm and is expected to take around 25 minutes to travel the 3km route.

Many residents have kindly volunteered to steward the event. Thank you for taking part.

As roads will be closed from 2pm until around 7pm please plan ahead if you need to go to Grays. Buses will be diverted but trains will be running as normal.
