- Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").
- The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting Mon-Fri 1pm-2pm" at the location specified below: - a) Mayflower Road, north side, from its junction with Galleon Road in an easterly direction to a point 4 metres east of the eastern building line of No. 19 Mayflower Road.
- To introduce new waiting restrictions "No Waiting At Any Time" at the locations specified below: - a) Mayflower Road, north side, from a point 1 metre east of the boundary of Nos. 47/49 Mayflower Road to a point 10 metres west of the north-western building line of No. 55 Mayflower Road.
b) Mayflower Road, south side, from a point 9 metres west of the north-western building line of No. 55 Mayflower Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.
c) Mayflower Road, south side, from a point 5 metres west of the western building line of No. 43 Mayflower Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 101 metres. - To revoke in part the waiting restriction "No Waiting Mon-Fri 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm" at the locations specified below: - a) Mayflower Road, north side, from its junction with Galleon Road in an easterly direction to a point 4 metres east of the eastern building line of No.19 Mayflower Road.
b) Mayflower Road, north side, from a point 1 metre east of the boundary of Nos. 47/49 Mayflower Road to a point 10 metres west of the north-western building line of No. 55 Mayflower Road.
c) Mayflower Road, south side, from a point 9 metres west of the north-western building line of No. 55 Mayflower Road in a westerly direction for a distance of 27 metres.
d) Mayflower Road, south side, from a point 5 metres west of the western building line of No. 43 Mayflower Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 101 metres. - A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, Thurrock, Essex, RM17 6SL, during normal office hours.
- Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the address in paragraph (5) to arrive on or before the 23rd March 2012. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
