Thurrock Prospective MP's Debate

Thurrock's Election Hustings very latest - updated
Updated (evening 19.4.10) news of next week's hustings in Stanford and Grays as the 2010 General Election campaign enters its second week.

Thurrock Constituency

Rev Darren Barlow has invited each of the five candidates to the hustings at
8pm on Wednesday 21 April at Grays Parish Church.

All 5 local candidates are now appearing at the husting:
  • Carys Davis (Liberal Democrats)
  • Jackie Doyle-Price (Conservative)
  • Carl Morris (Labour)
  • Clive Broad (United Kingdom Independence Party)
  • Emma Colgate (British National Party)
WE NEED A STRONG CHRISTIAN PRESENCE AT THIS EVENT AND PRAYER BACK-UP. Please make every effort to come and if you can't, please pray. There will be a uniformed police presence at the event.
The hustings for the Thurrock constituency will be chaired by Rev Steve Williams of West Horndon (the parish has a couple of fields and an airdrome in Thurrock!). We would like to thank Steve for offering his services - he's a good friend of the borough and a regular GLP attender. Steve's knowledge of the political landscape goes hand-in-hand with his position as the Thames Gateway Officer for the Bradwell Episcopal Area, Diocese of Chelmsford.

ONE DAY LEFT TO SUBMIT QUESTIONS! If you'd like to submit a question to be asked at the hustings, please contact Darren Barlow on revbarlow@talktalk.net or Tim Harrold on tim@transformationthurrock.com by Tuesday 20 April. Thank you.
