Possible delays or road diversions make take place between Tilbury to Lakeside due to the work by Electricity Alliance to refurbish the overhead electricity transmission line.
There will be laying of temporary roadways to provide safe access to work areas and, where the power lines cross roads or public rights of way, scaffolding may be erected overhead. Work will then begin on the main body of the project and is scheduled to be completed by Spring 2010.
Normal working hours will be betwee 7:30am - 6:30pm, however, occasional out-of-hours and weekend working may be necessary.
They apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause, and assure residents that efforts will be taken to complete the project as quickly and considerately as possible.
