All is not lost in the hope to prevent this development taking place:
The application now has to go to the Secretary of State for permission as the use of the land is changing from the development plan (the site is allocated for industrial and commercial purposes on the Local Plan).

The purpose of this personal blogsite is to pass Ward or Thurrock related information across, and to allow residents comment on plans or proposals. Residents suggestions for developments in the community are certainly very welcome.

Tunde, a very worthy petition. However what about hte proposed lorry park next to Sainsburys. What are your plans around fending that off. Could we perhaps have that for basketball and fottball facilities for our kids, like they have at Blackshots and other areas of Thurrock ?
