Additional School places in Chafford Primary School

Thurrock Council's cabinet approved an additional 26 (not 30 - as indicated in the report) new classrooms for residents of Chafford Hundred at yesterday (Wednesday 5 Sept 07) Cabinet meeting. The school places (see recommendations below) will now have to be considered by the Governors of Chafford Primary School.

What are your plans to accommodate chafford children next year?

The first part of the cabinet agenda stated that Education officers will conduct further investigation into the whole issue of school places and submit a report with amble time to prepare for next year.

I will continue to liaise with Cllr Revell and the education officers to ensure that this issue is not forgotten.
