Please find below details of upcoming Thurrock Coalition events - consulting upon proposed changes to the way Social Care is provided in Thurrock.

Make your voice heard on the Future of Adult Social Care Services in Thurrock!

Thurrock Council are currently asking people for their views and ideas about future care and support in Thurrock, including:

·         Considering charging full cost for some services e.g. Careline
·         Considering charging people more for short breaks
·         Considering stopping paying for equipment under £50

Thurrock Coalition (the User-Led Organisation for Thurrock) is running several consultation workshops throughout November 2015 looking at the impact that changes would have on people who use these services, as well as on carers and family members.

Your views and ideas and feedback are important.
