Many of you will be aware that the issue of cruisers in Lakeside Basin has been a cause for concern for residents and businesses in the area.
The Police have requested that the Council bring in a Public Spaces Protection Order for Lakeside.
This order would impose restrictions on the types of activities undertaken by car cruisers, such as wheel spinning, over revving of engines, speeding and undertaking vehicle type stunts.
The Council are considering the imposition of such an order.
As part of this consideration the council is now consulting with interested parties.
