Thurrock Council with its contractor Veolia on Monday 2 February suspended all bin collections due to the adverse road conditions.
The disruption also applied to the closure of the Civic Amenity & Recycling Centre in Linford.
The Council's website was updated daily with the latest collection news. Alternatively people can call our contact centre on 0800 581 281 for the latest news.
We apologise for any inconvenience to residents.
Q) Why hasnt my bin been collected?
A) Slippery road and pavement conditions mean it would be dangerous for our collection crews and lorries and for other road users.
Q) When will collections start again?
A) This week.
Q) What happens to my missed bin?
A) We will make every effort to catch up on collections. However this is dependant upon the length of the disruption and we will be monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
