This is just to let you know that a report on the future of schools in Chafford will be considered by the Cabinet of Thurrock Council on Wednesday 5 September 2007.
The Cabinet is currently made up of 9 elected councillors which include myself and Cllr Hague.
Please note that the meeting is a Cabinet meeting in public, rather than a public meeting so non members are not normally allowed to speak.
It normally holds in the main Chamber starting at 7pm. You do not need to book a place to attend.

Will you be discussing the report or voting on whether to carry out the recommendations in the report?
Both actually.
The normal practice is that someone, presumably the Director responsible will present the report, the Chair could then call on comments from Members, and then a vote is called.
