Speed Camera Training

I think that this is a good opportunity for Ward Reps and volunteers to learn how to use and operate these cameras.

There was criticism in the Gazette about citizens replace what should normally be a policeman's job.

I think rather that the more people can give back to the community in any way shape or form will somehow help the community and allow the police to direct their resources elsewhere.

I think the British mentality is "I pay my taxes for someone to do the job". The American mentality is "I pay my taxes, and lets get out there and help our community". I hate the way people put down those that want to enrich their community by making sure something like their roads are safer. Trying to get people to get off their backsides and engage in something other than drinking/sex/drugs is nigh on impossible these days. We tender to allow the youth to wander and discover things on their own. Why can't we educate them and show them the right way, before the likes of fagin teach them the wrong way.
