Howard Road Development

It has been announced that the Secretary of State via Government of East England has decided to grant final approval to this development, despite opposition to the new housing development from residents, councillors and Thurrock Council.

It is a shame that the last stage in the process, was decided by another non elected quango who live miles away from the development. It unfortunately means that the buildings will go ahead.

We will however be working with officers and the developers to ensure that all the conditions and benefits attached to the development will be delivered.

These include
- the GP Surgery
- the education contribution
- the green type development
- 30% affordable dwellings
