The promised consultation is scheduled to commence anytime now. I apologise for the delay which was due to the legal team dragging their feet in providing advice on the draft document.
As discussed in the last community forum, the consultation will be running options about weight limit, traffic calming, etc. Once the consultation is published, I will include details here.
I gather that there was an accident at the Devonshire/Drake junction recently, which further emphasises that doing nothing is not an option.

The purpose of this personal blogsite is to pass Ward or Thurrock related information across, and to allow residents comment on plans or proposals. Residents suggestions for developments in the community are certainly very welcome.

I know the historical perspective (resident of Grays for last 46 years).The reality is that these industrial sites need to be re-located! You can forget weight restrictions, etc...the lorry drivers will ignore them, as they do already. Only viable stop gap is width restriction.
